FEELINGSBUILDER RULES

Play by yourself, with a friend, or in a group

  • Take one block per turn from any level other than the top level.

  • Choose one, or several, of the following prompts:

    • Define the emotion on your block

    • Identify a time you experienced the emotion on your block

    • Identify something that could make you feel the emotion on your block

    • Identify a time you made someone else feel the emotion on your block

    • Identify healthy coping skills you can use if you feel the emotion on your block

    • Identify physiological and behavioral ways you can tell you feel the emotion on your block

    • Act out the emotion on the block and see if others can guess it

    • Practice how to use ‘I statements’ if you feel the emotion on your block

    • Use reflective listening when someone else uses an ‘I statement’

    • Create your own way to express yourself using the emotion on your block

  • Place the block on the top level

  • The game ends when the tower falls over.

Or, you can:

  • Look through all the feelings and make a single stacked tower of all the feelings you felt today

  • Line up all the feelings you had this month like dominoes and knock them down.

FEELINGSBUILDER  is a Mental Blocks Critical Thinking Game that can be used as an ABA Therapy Toy for Autism and ADHD and as a Good and Bad Choices Game.
